have you ever had someone that you really wanna be?
let me share with you what I wanted to be when I was younger..

Vampire

why vampire?
ok I'm not the crazy twilight I love you you love me fans here.
I guess during my era there was this chinese show "我和殭屍有個約會" or my date with a vampire and I really enjoy that show. I had this fake vampire teeth that I will wear and using blanket as a cape to run around when my mum is not around.

Spiderman

why spiderman?
ok it is still my favourite marvel's hero right now compare to X-men, batman and etc. I guess because I enjoy the cartoon during my times and also enjoy playing arcarde game and using spiderman. I used to own a spiderman suit thingy and I remember toyrus came out with this spiderman's hand toy that can shoot out the "web". I had spiderman toys too, along with all the legos, batman car, power ranger white tiger and a lot more which was given away as I grow up. How I wish I had kept some now.

Fireman

why fireman?
ok I believe I find fireman being the strongest and bravest during my age. True, they are. Go through their training and you will know. They do earn my respect greatly and dealing with real and life-threatening situation. I used to call 999 and 995 when I was young but got scared when I heard the voice over the telephone and hang it up.

in the upcoming 12th July,
I will officially count down to 11 more months of National Service.
I don't know is it fast or slow for you but for me, I felt time just flies like as though they're rushing for an appointment. Ok, maybe I prayed that God let time flies during difficult situations and did not prayed that to slow down the time. This 1 year and 1 month, I've given my best(for the first 3 months) to serve the nation and having leave the Officer Cadet School and embarking to a new journey not as a trainee anymore but someone that holds responsibilities now.

Ok why first 3 months? I guess partly as a recruit, you just wanna help your fellow section mates or platoon mates when they need help and also motivate each other to go on and not to give up. You need not need to bother about how the officer look at you or people thinking you're wayanging but working as one to help each other. Route marches is something I really miss a lot. The 5 days of field camp too, all the tekan time and practicing for drill squad and getting first for it. Those times at Pulau Tekong is something I won't forget. Those times where your Officers and Sergeants are there to help you and motivate you..

I remember the first day to Safti MI as an Officer Cadet Trainee, I feel good as this is somewhere I've worked hard and aim for. The first 3 weeks confinements was torturing as there is so much runs and physical exercises and tekan section. The first day I guess all of us did around 100 push up already? And transferring to the navy side due to an opportunity given, I didn't know why I would have tick yes there but yep there is where I spend my rest of my Officer Cadet Course there. At times I wonder why would I be if I stay at the army side.. but oh well, this place is so different from tekong. People is so individualistic but still I make a number of good friends that willing to help you. I started to go through motion I guess, just doing the least to pass and get through. I don't have that motivation to perform at all because I've this mindset that " I-did-not-sign-on-why-bother-so-much " oh well, don't be like this. I believe I've gained more knowledge than what the army boys are doing over their service and depriving for sleep at times especially during sailing and leading me to sleep in my bowl during breakfast and falling asleep in the toilet is really epic. Navigation, chartwork, ROR, gunnery, seamanship. I've made good friends with instructors too like WO Lye and MAJ Yue that is always supportive.

That day the peak cap flew up and down, the rank that was put on my shoulder by my dad and mum, the sword that was presented by Chief of Navy. I am given authority and power. Now with 11 more months left, I promise I will try to be the right influence to people under me, to end this 11 months with a bang.

have you wonder what is written on those keychain with messages for each and every different birthdays is true or not? I've a look at mine yesterday and here what it said..

Ok, I'm not boasting here as every other birthday has their own unique and positive messages.
However I wonder why the manufacture didn't come out with the negative side of message.

a friend of mine recently spoke to me and asking me to consider about going into mass com or marketing at Uni. Well, I really appreciate his effort as he explains everything to me about it and yes it is good. But the thing is, I don't know if I am even interested in marketing or not. Mass com? hahah everyone should know I asked my mum to help me draw and pass it up during my secondary school years.. I can't draw and design for goodness sake but I appreciate designs as I believe every artist are there to make a statement that will impact the world like how Andy Warhol did to popart. Ok, I've 11 more months to consider which field to go.

yes, everyone on this earth should go diving.
It is such an awesome experience and it makes me want to go even deeper.
Deeper to see how God created life in there and everything that is on the seabed.
Deeper to see what is hidden from this world. Beautiful corals and fishes.
I want to see more than just that.

It was 1 year ago when I first have my hair shaved and enter tekong to serve the nation! it was then a torturing 2 weeks when everyone of us wanting to get out and take the penguin boat to go home. I remember the trip from mainland to tekong was something I won't forget. My dad was sitting beside me, mum was there too. Well well, slowly and gradually I start to adapt and enjoy myself at Orion coy and mix and mingle well with my platoon mates and section mates. 3 months, just a blink of an eye, it passes through. I definely miss all the fun and laughters and tekan sessions! all the field camps and all. now standing here, i'm 1 week away from my chocolate bar. something I fight for the past 9 months to get, 19th June is so near yet so far. I still have to retake 2 tests hoping to pass yep! well I don't have that feel yet for commissioning but however something struck me real hard is that how time really flies.

well sortie assessment done
my pre-assessment was better but well,
thank God that I managed to pass still.
my confidence level wasn't up there compare to the previous time.
is a test like how you control your team
navigate the busy SG straits, with the planned track,
planned speed, time and distance to wheel over,
taking fixes that will tell us our position every 6 mins using navigation mark such as beacons and radio mast like sentosa's or bedok lighthouse, etc etc.
it is a 45 mins test but within that time you will have a lot of things to know and to do.
knowing how the wind and current aka tidal stream affects you all, knowing you are on of off track, how to get back on track using radian rules, avoiding collision and dealing with crossing traffic or overtaking vessel, there are specific rules that we learn in theory but now have to apply in practical. We also get to see those super duper big vessels and small ones like sampans. Raffles light house is pretty nice too.
well I must say it is a very good and interesting experience.
thats what OOW(Officer On Watch) do out at sea other than their specific role

I guess it will be an interesting experience.
however the submarine is not open for public and even naval staffs, as usual.

I want to get over with exam and poly.

1.westcoast park with jasper, wilson and chulien. what a random outing out of nowhere on the friday, the 13th.
2.soya beancurd in cck 302 is really addictive.
3.missing out planetshakers due to work was the greatest regret, but well, there wasn't anyone to replace me!
4.I have to and will start studying later of the day.
5.Retail therapy is shopping with the primary purpose of improving the buyer's mood or disposition. No, I need not improve my mood or disposition but I need to get some tops and bottoms.
6.attending a wedding at Rasa Sentosa Resort is way cool and dope. The wedding everything was real great. I bet it cost a bomb.
7.Bible reading plan and masterlife are great, really.

and I pray for healing over all sickness, seems like people are falling sick recently.
and I pray for EXAMS AND RESULTS to be able to graduate and get over poly.
and I pray for the FUTURE for it seems dim, like a cross-junction.

and I thank God for EVERYONE that is placed in my life.

new year this year was pretty fun.
I get to spend more time with some of my cousins than usual.
get to know and learn quite a number of stuffs too.

no longer needs to attend school on mon, tues and wed.
yay! no lessons!

my boss calls me a dustbin, everything is okay but refer to qn4 and qn9 yep. : )

11. If your partner could take you to any restaurant you wanted, which one would it be?
a restaurant by the sea during the evening with sunset and good varieties of food, something like marche or pariss. and i'll bring my partner, not another way round.

soup will be great.

BUFFETS, hours and hours of buffets. breakfast, lunch, dinner!

this is tough, I'm always making dinner for strangers instead of close ones.
